Why did you decide to go for a workation?

I have been traveling a lot during my studies, It's quite important for me to change scenery every now and then! Quite a few of my friends live outside of Germany. Catching up with my friends was another reason.

Why did you decide to go to greece?

I live in Hamburg and the weather here gets pretty sad during autumn season. I wanted to get some sunlight and postpone the winter a little.

Did you manage to get some work done during your workation?

Absolutely. I decided to work only 7 hours per day but these 7 hours were as productive as they would have been at home. One thing that i missed was my big screen so for my next workation, i will probably bring a second screen.

Was it difficult to reduce your working hours?

There are basically two ways to go about this. You can either temporarily adjust your target hours or you can do what i did which is to work a little bit more in the weeks prior to and after the workation so that you end up with the same amount of total hours.

Was it complicated to organize?

Not at all! I just had to raise a workation request that was approved by the responsible person in less than a day. There are some limitations on how many days you can do this per year and which countries are acceptable but the process is just a few clicks.

Did you enjoy your time there?

Athens is absolutely stunning and the weather couldn't have been better. I had an amazing time and i can't wait to do this again.
